Summary:
Banzai is looking for a strategic and operational partner to the CEO and executive team who is responsible for driving organizational efficiency, managing key initiatives, and ensuring alignment between departments. This role acts as a force multiplier for leadership, facilitating decision-making, streamlining operations, and ensuring the execution of strategic priorities.
Expectations of Role:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Work closely with the CEO and executive team to set strategic goals, translate them into actionable plans and track progress.
- Oversee execution of company initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional projects and provide strategic insights for high-impact decisions.
- Coordinate Board meetings, QBRs and Sales Kickoff meetings to ensure productive use of time.
Operational & Organizational Efficiency:
- Optimize internal processes, workflows and operations to improve operational efficiency, starting at the exec team level.
- Serve as a problem-solver for high-priority issues, removing roadblocks for teams and leadership.
- Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Ensure information flow — i.e. ensuring we have timely and efficient data, reporting, etc. for key metrics and project milestones across the entire business.
- Facilitate communication with Investor Relations consultants.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Support executive decision-making by providing research, analysis, and recommendations.
- Represent the CEO in meetings, ensuring objectives and priorities are communicated effectively.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Executive Support & Communication:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive leadership.
- Facilitate leadership meetings, setting agendas and tracking action items.
- Draft internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.
Special Projects & Growth Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Support key initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, or market expansions.
- Ownership of cross-functional special projects.
Desired Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership, strategy, or operational role (e.g., consulting, finance, or executive management).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with executive teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-growth company, startup, or corporate strategy role.
- Background in consulting, finance, or operations management.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, project management, and strategic planning.
